Designed initially for marine applications, the 40 series has proven itself effective in the consumer/industrial market. The 40 series has been used for flood prevention, pools and ponds, spill clean-up, and septic tank pumpout. The 40 series passes solids up to 1.5" diameter, and will run dry continuously without damage. Standard equipment includes .75-HP 115/230-Volt electric motor with 10Ft electrical cord and grounded plug. All pump components are assembled using non-corrosive materials, and finished with the same innovative three layer coating process found on offshore oil rigs. This pump is designed specifically for pumping sewage, and can pass solids up to 1.5” in diameter. All Keco suction hoses are made from ethylene copolymer and are manufactured specifically for use in the marine environment. The hoses are capable of withstanding absolute vacuum and handle temperatures from -20°F to 150°F. Hoses are available in lengths of 20 – 70ft.
